This cliff is about 20 minutes walk from my house. Probably best to park at our parking place by the group of houses rather than at the end of the road which is private. The rock is interesting, I used to think it was rotten but the visited “The beach” and realised that under the dust it was solid. All the route names come from local poet Jacob Sande’s poems, the text of the poems used to hang on the first bolts but I think they have long gone. If you are a boulderer but want to tick an 8a sport route then Vesle Daniel is the route for you. Also a great place for a family picnic, don’t forget the hamper. The main part of the cliff is a big overhang, you may think this makes it a good wet weather destination but it isn’t, go to Hellebust.
Walk from the parking lot and continue down the asphalt road until you reach the collection of houses at the end of the road. Follow the trail on the right into the pine forest. Follow the trail markings for Raudbua along a beautiful and well groomed trail to the seaside. The cliff is at the end at Raudbua.
